Strobe Gun is a versatile application designed for iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. It functions as both a flashlight and a strobe light utility, making it suitable for various occasions such as dance parties, Halloween events, and emergency situations. The app can emit Morse code signals through flash, making it a unique tool for communication or personal safety at night. For iOS devices lacking a flash feature, Strobe Gun creatively utilizes the entire screen to produce the strobe light effect.

The application offers three operational modes:

 <li>Tap to toggle: A simple tap initiates the strobe, and another tap halts it.</li>
 <li>Tap (and hold): This mode allows for a single flash, which can be particularly effective for Morse code communication or short bursts of light; no sound is produced during this function.</li>
 <li>Auto: When directed at an individual, this mode activates the strobe to potentially disorient an attacker.</li>

Created by Jeff Johnson, Strobe Gun aims to fill a gap in the market for a straightforward and advertisement-free application that delivers an array of lighting and sound effects.
